My Theories - 4 - The Philosophy Of Colours

This post is also going to be short (all my posts are,duh!). This concept or rather school of thought is inspired (you can say 'blatantly copied' too) from a certain comic. Also the role of colours in this philosophy may seem childish (even i feel so) but it is used merely as a tool for explaining a concept (and also as homage to the source of inspiration).

Just as there is a spectrum of colours, emotions also can be considered as constituting an 'emotional spectrum' . The colours (used as representatives or metaphors for emotions) of this spectrum are : green (willpower), blue (hope), yellow (fear), red (anger), pink (love), orange (greed), indigo (compassion) and finally black(destruction or rather a cynical void). The spectrum can be extrapolated by adding all other possible emotions for conforming with reality. Each and every person's mind is composed of this emotional spectrum. But the spectrum is different for different persons as in different colours (or emotions) are present in varying degrees. I myself think (or rather like to think) that blue dominates my spectrum. So what do you think of yourselves? Which colour dominates your personality ??

My Theories - 3 - The Dimensions Of Art

I am going to be concise and to the point in this post. Also this is more like a creative theory than a logical one. Read on:

 2 Dimensional art forms : Paintings, Drawings,etc. (Dimensions: length and breadth)

3 Dimensional art forms : Sculptures, Buildings,etc. (Dimensions: length, breadth and height)

4 Dimensional art form : Movies, Stage Plays,etc. (Dimensions: length, breadth, height and time)

5 Dimensional art form : Life (Dimensions: length, breadth, height, time and reality(bear with me))

 I could not think of a one dimensional art form. One of my colleagues commented that literature is a form of a one dimensional art form(the dimension being thought). But i don't think its very apt. And finally my favourite art form is 0 dimensional. And it is NOTHINGNESS!!
